Woosa B.V. cares a lot about your privacy and your customer’s privacy. We only process the data needed to improve our services. We handle the data that we collected about you and your customers and the way you use our services carefully. We will never give your data to third parties for commercial objectives.

This privacy policy is applied whenever you use the site, and the services offered by Woosa B.V. The validity of this policy started on 26/06/2023. Whenever a newer policy version is published, the validity of earlier versions is canceled. This privacy policy describes which data about you is being collected by us, what it is being used for, by who, and under which circumstances it could be shared with third parties. We will also explain how we save your data and protect them from getting abused. You also get to know your rights about the data you provided.

Webhosting

DigitalOcean 

We host our servers and databases at DigitalOcean. DigitalOcean processes personal data in our name, and they won’t use it for their own objectives. DigitalOcean could be collecting metadata about the use of their services. Metadata is not personal data. DigitalOcean has made technical and organized measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your data. DigitalOcean is based on our agreement forced to keep the data secret.

The global goal of the processing

We only use your data to provide you with our services. This means that the processing of your data always leads to your or your customer’s order. We will not use the data for marketing. If we are using the data you provided us with after your order we will ask your permission. Your data will not be used with third parties. Only by third parties to complete our accounting and other required administration.

Automatically collected data

Data collected automatically by our Shopify apps are processed to improve our services. The data (like your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal details.

Customer data processing

In case of our vidaXL Shopify app, Woosa will process the following customer data on your behalf and request: first name, last name, phone, street, house number, postal code, city, and country.

Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations

In some cases, Woosa B.V. must share your data with the government or criminal investigators. This is based on a legal obligation. In some cases, we are forced to provide your data. We will deny it if we don’t break the law.

Retention periods

We will save your and your customer’s data as long as you are our customer. This means that we will save your profile and customer data until you indicate that you don’t want to use our services anymore. If you indicate that you want to stop using our services we will take this as a forget request. Based on administrative requirements we have to save your bills with your data on them. We will save this data until the retention period expires. The staff members don’t have access to your data in this period.

Your rights

Based on Dutch and European law you have several rights about personal data that we process. We will explain how you can invoke these rights.

In principle, to prevent abuse, we will only send copies and copies of your data to the e-mail address already known. In case you wish to receive the data at a different e-mail address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests, in the case of a request being forgotten, we save anonymous data. You will receive all statements and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.

If your request is accepted, we will send you a confirmation that the details have been adjusted to the e-mail address known to us.

You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data – until you cancel the restriction – will no longer be processed.

You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. Right of objection and other rights
